With a view to overcoming the issue of communication we acquired Velp’s communication system, which greatly aided the work routine and optimized the response time in serving the population. The system improved the quality of the exchange of information between the central and the teams that serve the population, allowing the best route to be traced to the location of the call. Finally, it enables a real-time monitoring of our teams on the street. Having statistical data being fed daily was also a great gain, since it allows us to follow the indicators monitored by the SES / MG (State Health Department) and the registration of Electronic Prehospital Care Records.
