Traffic Monitoring for BHTRANS

Manage the fleet of vehicles that circulate through Belo Horizonte, the state capital, is no easy task. To facilitate this process, since 2014, the Company of Transport and Traffic of Belo Horizonte (BHTRANS) contracted a solution developed by Velp to computerize all traffic monitoring in the city.

The system uses data collectors and portable printers to optimize and streamline all types of transport monitoring: buses, vans, school buses, taxis and inspections of company yards, in addition to vehicles in general.

The old paper-based vouchers have been substituted by data collectors, where inspectors can fill out information and print it in real time, which provides agility and helps minimize mistakes. The registered information is transmitted to BHTrans cooperative system, guaranteeing efficiency throughout the whole process.
