IPHAN –Monitoring of Historic Heritage

Developing technological solutions in a national context that optimizes monitoring processes and meet each client’s specificities is one of Velp’s traits.

Since 2013, the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Herritage (Iphan), an entity connected to the Ministry of Culture, uses the Fiscalis system developed by Velp to guarantee the preservation of Brazilian cultural heritage.

The solution allows the planning, management and execution of inspections to the historical and artistic assets of the whole country. For this, Iphan’s taxpayers access the system developed by Velp through tablets, in which they consult all the necessary information regarding the patrimony monitored. They can fill and print, through a portable printer, the inspection report, the notice of infraction, the embargo term, among other documents, and send the information via 3G network to the plant in Brasilia. The system, through the web module, also allows to manage the entire process, from planning, execution of inspection, registration of infractions until the judgment and payment of fines.
